RPM TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES
A NEW FACILITY TO PROCESS RECYCLED PLASTIC RESIN.
RPM Technologies, Inc. (OTC-RPMM), a leading manufacturer and marketer of environmentally friendly plastic pallets and related material handling products, announced the completion of its new grinding and processing facility in Park Forest, Illinois. This facility will enable the Company to produce less expensive material handling products by supplying its own recycled resin. The Company is marketing 40X48 and 48X48 plastic pallets well below industry price averages.
RPM provides molds and resins for the manufacture of its plastic pallets. RPM’s resin processing occurs at the company’s facility and incorporates a proprietary system of grinding consumer and industrial plastic scrap into recycled resins. RPM’s facility expansion in Park Forest, Illinois will accommodate growth in the company’s grinding and processing operations stemming from recent agreements with several large post-industrial plastic scrap collectors. RPM expects to initially receive and process more than 750,000 pounds of HDPE mixed color scrap per month, approximately 37.5% of the facility’s monthly capacity of two million pounds.
"We are very excited about this expansion," commented Dana Olson, Vice President of Manufacturing of RPM Technologies, Inc. "Installation of our custom-designed grinding and processing equipment was successfully completed as proven during our initial runs. We expect to bring this line up to speed quickly, approaching desired capacity sometime during middle 2006."
Procurement contracts with large industrial accounts guarantees a steady flow of scrap that would normally end up in a land fill. "RPM" stands for "Recycled Plastic Material", which in a variety of ways helps the environment and provides less expensive products for our customers.
RPM Technologies, Inc. produces its plastic pallets through injection, extrusion and compression molding. Additional information can be found on the company's Website, www.rpmplasticpallets.com.
